 KHABRE TV : 9334598481 : Rohit Sharma Report : For the first time from this year, the Indian Postal Department has issued a waterproof envelope for Rakshabandhan, in which the postal department will prove successful in delivering the goods of Rakhi and Neg to the safe brother.




  Sister living in the city or village takes the help of post only to send Raksha Bandhan to her brother.  For this, the postal department also makes special arrangements, so that Rakhi reaches brother before Raksha Bandhan.  The rakhis of such sisters reach the brothers safely and on time even in this rainy season, keeping this in mind, the postal department has taken a unique initiative.




  For this, the Department of Posts has prepared a special type of water proof envelope this year.  Rajdev Prasad, Senior Superintendent of Posts, Patna Division said that this time also the postal department has provided a water proof envelope.  Its price is also not high.  It is available for just Rs.10.  Whereas, for sending by ordinary post, an additional postage stamp of Rs.




  Prasad told that if you want to send it in local through speed post then you will have to pay Rs 25 extra.  At the same time, for sending to another state, Rs 41 will have to be paid.  He informed that Rakhi Special Envelope is available in all Head Post Office, Sub Post Office and Branch Post Office of Patna district including Bankipur Post Office.
