 A tree plantation program was organized today.  On this occasion, Chief Medical Officer of Nalanda district, Dr. Avinash Kumar was the chief guest.  Today's program started at 9:30 am with the arrival of the chief guest at Sainik School campus.




  Principal of Sainik School Nalanda, Captain (Indian Navy) Naveen Krishna Chandra welcomed the chief guest in the traditional manner.  Thereafter, Dr. Avinash Kumar dedicated saplings from his lotus flowers to the military students of the school. 




 Let it be known that on the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Swachhta Pakhwada is being organized by the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation under the Swachh Bharat Mission, Ministry of Jal Shakti (Government of India) from 15th September to 2nd October in the entire country.  




In the same sequence, various activities are also being organized by the military students, teachers and personnel of Sainik School Nalanda.  On this occasion, 'Poster Making' competition was organized to create awareness about cleanliness. Saplings were planted in the school premises under the plantation programme.  In his address, Chief Guest Dr. Avinash Kumar said that if we all are not aware about the conservation and promotion of trees,




 then the day is not far when our ecosystem will be in danger due to the green gas effect, which will directly impact the coming generations.  Will affect the health of.  To avoid this, every person must plant at least five trees around him. 




 Expressing happiness on this occasion, Dr. Avinash praised this unique initiative of the school family.  The said campaign will be concluded ceremoniously on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October.

 On this occasion, students, teachers and all the posted officials of the school were present.
