 Khabre TV: 9334598481: A seminar related to the restoration of heritage, architecture and culture was organized today (February 9, 2024) in collaboration with Nalanda University School of Historical Studies and Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC).

 The symposium featured eminent speakers like Ratish Nanda, CEO, Aga Khan Trust, India (AKTC), Dr. Gautami Bhattacharya, Superintendent Archaeologist, ASI, Patna and Sajjad Shahid, Co-Convenor, INTACH, Hyderabad.


 Addressing the inaugural session of the seminar, Interim Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Abhay Kumar Singh said that our awareness about historical monuments plays a big role in our efforts to conserve these monuments.  This seminar, organized in collaboration with the Aga Khan Trust, will help the academic community of Nalanda develop a unique insight.


 In this seminar, lectures were given to shed light on the aspects related to the conservation of cultural and architectural heritage.  The lectures were followed by the screening of a film focusing on architectural conservation.


 This seminar was important for highlighting important facts related to the preservation of India's rich cultural heritage as well as for enhancing the knowledge of the student and scholar community of Nalanda.
