@khabre Tv : Silao, dated 19 April 2025, Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025-26 was organized today at Sainik School Nalanda, Nanand. In a grand program organized at 6:30 am in the Supports Complex (Shivo Mewalal Stadium) located in the school premises, Colonel Bhupendra Kumar, Principal Sainik School Nalanda administered the oath of responsibilities to the newly appointed military-student appointees by pinning their epaulets on them.
Cadet Yashasvi Raj (1348) was appointed School Cadet Captain, Cadet Saurabh Manish Singh (1415) as School Adjutant and Cadet Khyati Vijit (1340) as Girl Cadet Captain for the current session. Apart from this, other school, house, and class appointees were also invested with rank badges. Thereafter, the newly appointed appointees were sworn in to maintain loyalty to school traditions and ethos. In his address, the Principal inspired the cadets to discharge their roles with determination and honesty.
While highlighting the significance of the investiture ceremony in military educational institutions, he underlined the importance of the 'Prefect System' and said that this helps in developing the qualities of self-discipline and comradery among military students. On this occasion, those talented military students of the last academic session were honoured who secured first position in their respective classes; Anand Raj from class 11th, Shivam Kumar from class 9th, Pranjal Kumar and Sudhanshu Kumar from class 8th, Ujjwal from class 7th and Rishav Raj from class 6th were presented with trophies and encouraged.
