 Villagers made aware on World No Tobacco Day!





 KHABRE TV : 9334598481 : Abhishek Sharma Report : Hilsa ( Nalanda ) Villagers were made aware of the World No Tobacco Day on Tuesday by running an anti-drug awareness campaign in the rural area.  National President of Quit Gutkha Andolan, Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Manav told the people in Barkhanda that intoxicants like Gutkha, Khaini, liquor etc. are injurious to our health, especially the future of children and youth is getting spoiled. 




 The government has banned, yet the sale and consumption continues indiscriminately.  He said that people can be saved only by spreading public awareness in the village.  During this, the villagers were motivated by showing posters that they should not consume tobacco-borne substances like gutkha khaini even by mistake.  Social worker Madhusudan Kumar said that now even young children studying in school are falling prey to drug addiction which is unfortunate.




  When parents take drugs, children will learn too.  He made the parents resolve to give up drugs.  During the program, many villagers narrated their ordeal and described intoxication as the root of destruction.
