Khabre TV : 9334598481 : On the occasion of Deepawali in the grand courtyard of Sant Xavier's Girls' School, Khandak, a poignant tableau and singing of Chhath Puja, the festival of faith, was presented by the girls in the grand courtyard of Bihar Sharif.
On this occasion, songs of Chhath were presented by Aarohi Singh, Suman Kumari, Amrita Kumari, Sana Praveen, Nikki, Maleeha Fatma. Competitions like painting competition, lamp decoration competition, rangoli competition, paper craft were organized on this occasion.
In the Rangoli competition, the team of class X students Khushi, Aaradhya, Rajnandini, Shreya were declared the first winners. Sara, Anushka, Samiksha of class VII got the second position while Nisha Raj,
The team of Fatma, Aamna Ansari, got the third place. In the lamp decoration, Aadiya Verma of class I, Raj Lakshmi of class II was selected for second and third place.
In the painting competition, Rashi Mathur was declared as the first, Akanksha II and Giriraj on the third place. In the paper craft competition, class VIII's Priya Rani was selected in the first place, Sweety Kumari Dwitiya and Sadia Praveen on the third place.
Pallavi Rani, Kumari Pratibha, and Jiya Verma were declared first, second and third of the class ninth in the Kalash decoration competition.
School Secretary Pankaj Kumar and Director Khushboo Singh extended warm greetings to all the students on the morning of the festival of light and also advised them to celebrate a pollution-free Diwali keeping in mind the safety of the environment.
