 Khabre TV: 9334598481: Bhubaneswar, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIT) awarded the first CII Sports Business Awards 2023.  Dr. Achyuta Samant, Founder of KIT and KISS received the award from Chanakya Chaudhary, Chairman, CII National Sports Committee on behalf of KIT.  KIT was awarded in the "Best Sports Facility" category for creating top class sports facilities in India.  BCCI Secretary and Asian Cricket Council President Jay Shah was awarded the Best Sports Business Leader.  Reliance Foundation Chairperson and Founder Nita Ambani, Dr. Samant were recognized as Sports Business Leaders for their exceptional leadership in sports business.




 Royal Challenge, Bangalore was awarded the Sports Franchise of the Year award and Tamil Nadu was awarded as the best state promoting sports.


 It is noteworthy that national and global leaders from the sports world were present at the ceremony which included Abhinav Bindra;  Michelle Wade, South Asia Commissioner, State Government.  of Victoria, Australia;  Abhishek Binakiya, Partner, Transformation, Head of Technology Center of Excellence and Head of Sports Advisory, Grant Thornton India;  Nick Coward, Expert Partner, Portus Consulting and Ahana Mehotra, Partner TMT Law Practice.


 Even before this, Kit has been honored with the National Sports Promotion Award 2022 by the Government of India;  FICCI India Sports Awards 2022 by FICCI;  Sports Star Aces Award 2022 by The Hindu;  And has been awarded the Biju Patnaik Sports Award 2019 for 'Best Contribution in Promotion of Sports' by the Government of Odisha.
