In the state level camp of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan, many military students of Sainik School Nalanda were recognized for their excellent performance.
Khabre TV: 9334598481: 20 December 2023, 9 military students of Sainik School Nalanda were awarded on the basis of their excellent performance in the state level camp of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan. Out of total 18 child scientists from the state of Bihar, 9 are military students of Sainik School, Nalanda. NIT on Sunday 17th December. A total of 132 students from class 6th to class 11th studying in various government and private schools of Bihar state participated in the most prestigious competition organized in Patna. Let it be known that to create awareness in the field of science research and technology among the students, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Vigyan Bharati, National Institute of Science Museum, Ministry of Art and Culture, Government of India. Is organized under joint auspices. A total of 260 students of Sainik School, Nalanda participated in the school level competition organized through online medium on 29th and 30th October, out of which 37 students were selected for the state level camp.
In this, two students stood first, three students stood second and four students stood third. The students who stood first, second and third in this competition were awarded Rs. Five thousand, three thousand and two thousand rupees were given as cash prizes. Five military students of Sainik School were selected for the national camp to be held in Port Blair in May 2024.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Nalanda Open University and great mathematician Prof. KC Sinha was present as the chief guest. Prof. Sinha said that this type of innovation helps in teaching and learning of science and also paves the way for new research. Principal of the school, Captain (Indian Navy) Naveen Krishna Chandra, while congratulating all the winning students, termed it as the result of hard work of all the participating students and teachers...
