(KHABRE TV - 9334598481, 9523505786) -   Hilsa (Nalanda) Speech competition was organized in the premises of local Ramachandra Gupta Kanya High School on the occasion of National Voters' Day. Inaugurating the program, Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Manav, District Sweep Icon of the Election Commission of India said that the country will move in the right direction only when voters are empowered. Voting is very important in a democracy. The aim of celebrating National Voters' Day is to make voters aware as well as prospective voters.

 


He appealed to the students to start a campaign to awaken the people from their homes and decide their strong participation in strengthening the democracy of the country. The winners of the competition, Azmat Sadia, Anshu Sharma, Rosie Parveen, Nazia Amrin, Neha Raj, Simran Naz were rewarded by Dr. Manav and gave collective resolution related to voter awareness.
