In accordance with the underlying objective and the decision taken, Jal Jeevan Hariyali Divas was organized on the first Tuesday of March.
State level program was held at Bameti Auditorium Bameti Complex Phulwari Sharif, Patna. In which Development Commissioner Shri Aamir Daurani, Principal Secretary Small Water Resources Mr. Ravi Manubhai Parmar, Principal Secretary Rural Development Department Mr. Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, Agriculture Department Secretary Mr. N. Saravan Kumar, Director Agriculture Mr. Adesh Titarmare, Mission Director Water Life Greenery Campaign Mr. Rajiv Secretaries of other associate departments including Roshan and other officials of the agriculture department were present.
Live webcasting of the event was done in the district / block headquarters where the officials of all the concerned departments participated.
The district level program was organized at the Atma Auditorium. About 40 farmers from various blocks of the district including Deputy Development Commissioner, District Panchayat Raj Officer, Executive Engineer Building Division, District Agricultural Officer, Assistant Director Horticulture, officials of various associate departments participated in the program.
On today's water life Hariyali Divas, the topic "Alternative crops, drip irrigation, organic farming and other new technologies used" was discussed.
In the program, some farmers using organic farming / drip irrigation / new technologies shared their experiences. He told how his life has changed by using these mediums, along with the detailed information about these methods by the officials of the Department of Agriculture.
