 Alok Azad, Divisional Co-Convenor of Bihar Secondary Teachers Association, wrote an email to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Education Minister, Bihar, and appointed 2 teachers and librarians appointed in Phase I (2006/2007) on completion of almost 9 years of service  Despite the completion of nearly 06 years of service to the appointed teachers and librarians appointed in the second phase (2009/2010), they have demanded to modify the earlier order of giving only 01 increments.

 Alok Azad said that teachers and librarians who were reinstated in 2014-2015 under the same service condition continue to get the benefit of an increment after each year of service.  There is a loss of about five thousand per month.

 Alok said that so far, due to this, the teachers have lost about lakhs of rupees, which the government should rectify and pay arrears as soon as possible.

 He said that as per Resolution No. 8043 dated 11.10.2017 of the Finance Department, all the allowance should have been given to the employed teachers and librarians as per the dearness allowance, medical allowance and house allowance approved for the state workers.  Despite this, the Education Department Bihar has also implemented this policy in the service teachers and librarians two policy in one service condition, according to which the teachers and librarians appointed after 01.01.2016 will get the benefit of this, while before 01.01.2016.  Appointed employed teachers and librarians are denied the economic benefits of this rule, which is a gross injustice to under-paid teachers.

 He urged the government to demand the benefit of annual increment under the question increment and resolution 8043 for the trained employed teachers and librarians appointed in 2006-2007 and 2009-2010 every year from the start date of the service so that in the same service condition  Two types of policy ie separate policy for previous service and separate policy for current service could not harm the workers with less salaries.
