 Khabre Tv - 9334598481 - Aditya's report -  Rajgir - International tourist destination Sadguru Kabir Ashram located in Rajgir celebrated the birth anniversary of folk artist Padmashree Bhikhari Thakur ji, in which the eradication of social evils was discussed in detail, social activist intellectual poet dignitaries in this jubilee program  Speakers present on this occasion said that Bhikhari Thakur ji was the harbinger of social cultural revolution and Bhikhari Thakur ji had opposed social evils through his plays and writings throughout his life. 



Bhikhari Thakur ji is a source of inspiration for all of us present in the program.  Started social awareness program against social evils like dowry system, child marriage, drug abuse.  The convener of the program, Deepak Kumar, who was present on the occasion, appealed to the people to give their support in uplifting the society by giving impetus to the social reform campaign.  Thakur ji was a folk artist as well as a social reformer and thinker. Today, due to increasing obscene songs, the image of Bihar is getting tarnished and its genre is getting extinct by boycotting obscene songs and folk tunes of Bihar like Kajri,  Birha, Chaita, Chaiti, Saaz-Parati, Alha, Rudal, Jhumar, Jhijiyanirgun, etc.
