(KHABRE TV - 9523505786) - To prevent the spread of Kovid-19 infection, various cells have been formed at the district level.
At the district level, samples are being taken daily for examination as per the target set. An isolation center has been set up at Beedi Shramik Hospital, Bihar Sharif and Diet Nursarai, to keep positive people in isolation.
District Officer Yogendra Singh today held a review meeting with officials of various treasuries regarding sample collection, investigation, isolation, containment zone etc.
One officer each for both institutional isolation centers has been deputed as supervisory officer. The responsibility of supervising the Beedi Shramik Hospital Isolation Center has been given to the District Sports Officer and the supervision of the Diet Nursarai Isolation Center has been given to the District Cooperative Officer. The District Officer has ordered the two officials to constantly supervise the arrangement and quality of food at the isolation center, arrangements for cleanliness and available medical facilities. He was instructed to taste the quality of food at both isolation centers daily and give feedback to the district official regarding other arrangements.
Currently, a target of 370 test samples per day has been set for the district. Of these, a target of 200 samples per day for Rt PCR, 125 for Trunet and 45 for Rapid Antigen Test. The District Officer directed to take daily test samples and ensure the investigation as per the set targets and protocols. According to the protocol, samples of people found to be high risk contacts of positive individuals are taken for priority examination. For this, the Tracking Officer was instructed to ensure high risk contact tracing and sampling operations.
According to the health department's guide line, infected persons can also live in home isolation as they wish. For this, they have to give a consent declaration for home isolation at the time of examination and ensure compliance with the guidelines of the Health Department in this regard. People living in home isolation were also instructed to ensure regular medical follow up.
People living in home isolation were instructed to provide the number 06112 236794 of the district level medical helpline so that in case of contingency, people can contact this number and get the necessary medical facility. People living in home isolation were instructed to maintain data separately.
It was instructed to ensure the facility of rapid antigen test at sub-divisional level.
The district level control room was also instructed to talk to some people living at the isolation center daily through telephone and take feedback about the available arrangements.
Both the isolation centers were instructed to ensure physical verification of other available equipment and medicines including pulse oximeter, oxygen cylinder.
Instructions were given to ensure collection and execution of waste from the isolation center in accordance with the prescribed standard operating procedure.
All the officials were directed to ensure discharge of their duties with sensitivity.
Disaster Branch Incharge, Civil Surgeon, District Panchayati Raj Officer, Land Reforms Deputy Collector Bihar Sharif, District Welfare Officer along with Health Department and other district level related officials were present in the meeting.
