The pavement shopkeepers are on the verge of starvation as the employment business collapses, with the central and state government only pretending in the name of relief - the Thela Pavement Bhandars Union, Nalanda.
(Khabare TV - 9523505786) - Pal Bihari Lal, general secretary of Thela Pavement Bhendars Union, Nalanda and president Kishore Sau, Secretary Ramdev Chaudhary issued a joint statement saying that, the lockdown is wreaking havoc on the poor. The government should give ten thousand rupees and ten kg of grain per person per month for six months as lockdown allowance to the footpaths. Pavement shopkeepers are on the verge of starvation due to loss of employment. The central and state governments are only pretending in the name of relief. The leaders of the Pavement Vendors Union warned the government that the flood of disturbance of the poor would take away all their hankies. The organization is ready to lead the struggles leading to the disturbance of the poor including the footpath shopkeepers.
