  Khabre TV - 9334598481 - Basant Kumar Report - April 14 will be celebrated as College Foundation Day at Vardhman Institute of Medical Sciences, Pawapuri.  The preparations are being done in full swing in its entire Vims Institute.  Giving information about this, Dr. PK Chaudhary, Principal of Vims College, issued a press conference and said that it was decided by unanimous discussion by all the medical teachers and all the students of Pawapuri Medical College, that on the next 14 April 2022.  The day the foundation stone was laid for the Vims Institute.  It will be celebrated as College Foundation Day. On behalf of the Vims Institute of CFD function, it has been decided to invite the Chief Minister, Health Minister, and Rural Development Minister, MP, MLA and other eminent person of the region on the said date.  Along with this, all these dignitaries have also been requested for blessings on this auspicious occasion.  Messages have also been received from some dignitaries.




  The entire Vims Institute will be decorated with attractive color lights, lights and flowers for the one week long CFD.  The Principal told that all the doctors and students are taking part in organizing the program properly. He informed that it has also been decided to observe one week CFD week for the students.  Under this CFD week, from April 8, sports, educational programs, cultural programs, competitions will be organized in the institute.  In which prizes will be awarded to the winners.  Along with this, a souvenir will also be broadcast on the auspicious occasion of its foundation day, which will be distributed among the students and the dignitaries. A committee has also been appointed to conduct this program.In which the superintendent of Vims Dr. Gyan Bhushan, Organizing President Dr. Vijayendra Prasad, Head of Department of Anesthesia, Organizing Secretary Dr. Ashok Kumar, Head of Anatomy Department, Reception Committee President, IMA President Dr. Sahajanand Prasad Singh, Treasurer, Dr. Ganesh Prasad Singh, Head of Department of Medicine, FMT.  The Head of the Department will be Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Dr. Vinod Kumar Mishra and Chief Patron Dr. PK Choudhary.




  Pre-batch topper students of the college will be awarded.  On this occasion, it was decided that the students of the former batch of Pavapuri Bhimas would also be invited and it has been decided to felicitate them.  The Principal said that many students who are doing their medical studies from Vims Pavapuri are bringing laurels here in the country and abroad as well.


Last year, this foundation day had to be postponed due to Corona.




  It has been 9 years since the Vims Institute was opened, last year preparations were made to celebrate CFD week.  But due to the Karona epidemic, the program had to be postponed, and after mutual consultation, keeping in view the needs of the people, a deposit of Rs 10 lakh collected with mutual support for the program was donated to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
