 KHABRE TV - 9334598481 - Aditya's report - Kritika Vishwas, Tanu Kumari, Abhinandan Raj and Ayush Kumar, four military students of Sainik School Nalanda, Nanand, respectively, achieving another achievement at the regional level, Tollygunge Club, Kolkata (West)  He has made the state of Nalanda and Bihar proud by registering his impressive presence in the two-day Regional Horse Riding League organized in Bengal.  




The said competition was organized on 20th and 21st March 2022. It may be noted that these budding equestrian team was given rigorous training by eminent equestrian instructor Shri Yogendra Singh Yadav, who has vast experience in training officers in Indian Armed Forces and Police Forces. 




 This is the first time in the history of Sainik Schools at the All India level that an equestrian team from a Sainik School has participated in this level of competition.




 On this occasion, the Principal of the school, Col. Tamojit Biswas conveyed his best wishes to all the participating military students and said that such competitions will not only give an opportunity to this first equestrian team of Sainik School Nalanda but will also inspire other players.  




He also said that the Sainik School Society, Ministry of Defense (Government of India) has provided Olympic level training to Sainik Schools in each state in order to give practical shape to the Government of India's ambitious 'One State One Sports' initiative.



  Provided financial assistance for development of infrastructure to provide opportunities.  This is a worthwhile step in that direction.  With such efforts, facilities and training, we will be able to produce Olympic level players in future.
