(KHABRE TV - 9334598481, 9523505786) - Nalanda District Officer Shri Yogendra Singh today reviewed the implementation of every house tap water and pucca street drain scheme in urban and rural wards.
Under the Nal Jal Yojana, schemes have been implemented in 1245 rural wards by PHED and 2146 rural wards through the Ward Implementation Committee by Panchayati Raj Department.
Schemes are incomplete in 17 wards out of the rural wards implemented by PHED and schemes are incomplete in 6 wards in wards implemented by Panchayati Raj Department. The work of the schemes in the remaining wards has been completed.
Instructions were given to concerned officials to complete the work of all pending schemes soon.
Soakpit is also being constructed under the Jal Jeevan Hariyali Abhiyan in the schemes implemented by the Panchayati Raj Department. About 300 soakpits have been built so far. Other schemes have also been asked to ensure rapid construction of the sockpit.
Work is being done through PHED in Nagar Panchayat Rajgir and Nagar Panchayat Silav under Nal Jal Yojana.
In Nagar Panchayat Rajgir, the work of house connection has been completed in 14 wards and in 3 wards this work has been done partially. Giving priority, the district officer directed to complete the work of house connection in the remaining ward by 30 November. Also, the PHED was directed to start the water supply system through the pipeline of the new project without any delay.
The house connection work has been completed in 3 wards of Silav Nagar Panchayat, the PhD was instructed to complete the house connection work in the remaining wards also without delay.
The work of schemes for tap water in Islampur Nagar Panchayat and Hilsa Municipal Council have been completed.
The work of tap water has been completed in 32 wards out of 46 municipal corporation Biharsharif. Instructions were given to complete the work in 42 wards by the end of this month and in all 46 wards by 15 December.
The executive engineer of Budco was instructed to ensure quick repair of the digging done in the order of laying the pipe.
Work has been completed in 9 wards of Municipal body Rajgir under Pakki Gali Drain Scheme, in the remaining wards, the work was directed to be completed by expediting the work. The work of 7 wards in Municipal Body Silav has been completed, two other wards will also be completed by the end of this month. In the remaining wards, instructions were given to complete the work by completing the tender process. 65 schemes have been tendered in Municipal body Islampur, contract is under process. Tenders have also been issued for others. The District Officer completed the entire process and directed to get the work done fast. In the city council Hilsa was also asked to expedite the work of the plans under process.
Work has been done for 41 wards under Pakki Gali Drain Scheme in Municipal Corporation Bihar Sharif, the work of other wards has also been directed to be completed by the end of this month.
The meeting was attended by the Municipal Commissioner, District Panchayati Raj Officer, Executive Engineer PHED, Executive Engineer Budco and executive officers and engineers of various municipal bodies through video conferencing.
