The Divisional Commissioner cum Electoral Officer briefed the officers and personnel involved in the counting of work in SKM.

The Election Officer directed all the officers and personnel involved in the counting of votes to count the votes as per the guidelines of the Commission with complete transparency, accountability and loyalty.

During the briefing, the personnel were made aware of the rules / provisions of the Commission related to counting and the technical aspects were informed.

Passes have been issued to the persons authorized to enter the counting premises and only those nearby have been allowed to enter the premises. In addition, passes have also been issued for the entry of authorized persons.

The entry of unwanted items like mobile phones, electronic devices, matches, tobacco etc. has been banned. The entrance will be rigorously examined.

Adequate number of magistrate police officers and police forces have been deployed for peaceful editing of counting and maintaining law and order. A three-tier tight security arrangement has been made at the counting center. CCTV cameras and videography have been arranged and control rooms have been set up to monitor the smooth conduct of counting work.

Prohibitory orders have been imposed under section 144 around the counting day on the counting day for the conduct of counting of votes.

The Election Officer has given strict instructions to all persons at the counting center to follow the Kovid protocol. Under this, thermal screening, hand sanitizer has been arranged at the entrance and the system of sanitization has been ensured from time to time within the premises. He instructed each person to follow social distance under the Kovid standard.

It is to be noted that from 8:00 am on November 12, the counting work of Patna Teacher and Patna Graduate Constituency will be held at Aryabhatta Gyan University Mithapur. All the necessary administrative preparations have been completed for its successful and smooth editing.
