(KHABRE TV - 9334598481, 9523505786) - A discussion on the theme "Role of Media in Kovid Transition and Its Impact on Media" was organized at the function organized on the occasion of National Press Day at Hardev Bhawan Auditorium in the Collectorate premises today.
On this occasion, Chief Guest Deputy Development Commissioner Shri Rakesh Kumar in his address highlighted the role of media as the fourth pillar of democracy. He said that due to the positive role of media in the hour of any disaster, there is always cooperation in reducing the risk of disaster. Even in times of epidemics like Covid, media personnel, while keeping themselves at risk, have discharged their obligation to society.
In the management of the Covid era, while on the one hand, the media was made aware of the measures related to rescue and security by giving the right information to the common people, on the other hand, by bringing the shortcomings related to the management to the notice of the local administration and to remove them. Attempts have also been made. By doing both works in the interest of the society, the media has done a positive bridge between the society and the administration. All the media brothers deserve thanks for this.
