DM gave 5 - 5 thousand as reward to two youths for good work like saving lives by helping people in road accident in Nalanda.
Khabre Tv - 9334598481 - Report of Satyam - The District Magistrate of Nalanda, Mr. Yogendra Singh reviewed the matters related to Transport Department and Road Safety.
Did good work like saving lives by helping people in road accidents, the District Officer handed over the prize check amount of Rs 5000-5000 to two youths.
Shubham Raj and Manish Bharti two youths set an example for the society by doing good work in road accident. The District Magistrate appealed to all the people to come forward in such a situation and help the person who was injured in the accident.
So far only 02 persons have been dissatisfied with the benefit of Rs 5 lakh per road accident compensation. He said that accidents are happening continuously but why compensation was given to only 02 persons. He directed to do publicity to increase the application for compensation and to take the application at the police station level. Superintendent of Police Nalanda Shri Hari Prasath S directed to take police station wise online application and upload it on the portal.
Harnaut, Chandi, Ekangarsarai and Deep Nagar are the police stations with maximum accidents in 2020.
It was told that 644 accidents took place in the last two years in NH-31, which is 15 percent of the accidents in the whole of Bihar.
Nalanda was ranked 5th in the whole of Bihar in helmet cover.
Nalanda has only 5 devices for issuing challans through hand held devices, whereas in Patna it is in 137 numbers.
In reviewing the road renovation, the engineer of NH 31 said that CNG will be started from January 1. The District Magistrate ordered that the condition of the road is not good.
The engineer of NH-82 was directed to repair the road near Kosuk. Similarly, instructions were given to repair the road under Rajgir flyover.
In NH-82, instructions were given to repair the potholes near Mohammadpur and Gilani. The District Officer became strict on the increasing number of road breakers on NH and directed to remove it considering it as a major reason for the accident.
The District Magistrate directed to install signage near Sohsarai Halt, Pachasa and Nakatpura in NH-82.
Displeasure was also expressed over the dilapidated condition of the road leading from Itbari Bazar and strict orders were given.
