Khabre TV: Silao, 20 September 2024, Hindi week was organized at Sainik School Nalanda located at Nanand. It concluded on 19 September with a Bal Kavi Sammelan, Principal of Sainik School Colonel Bhupendra Kumar was the chief guest on this occasion. It is known that various programs are organized in various government and non-government institutions of the country to promote the official language Hindi, in light of this, Hindi Department, Sainik School Nalanda also organized Hindi week. Under this, from 14 September to 19 September, various programs like inter-house essay writing competition for military students, debate competition and paragraph writing competition for administrative personnel and dictation competition for general personnel were organized.


A Bal 'Kavi-Darbar' was organized on the occasion of the conclusion of Hindi week. This program started at 6:30 pm with the arrival of Principal Colonel Bhupendra Kumar at the Muktakashi Rangmanch of the school.  The Principal inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. The military students studying in Sainik School Nalanda showed their special talent by reciting their original compositions aloud. On this occasion, some students recited the poems of national poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Maithilisharan Gupt and Subhadra Kumari Chauhan with great enthusiasm. In his address, Principal Colonel Bhupendra Kumar praised these child poets and said that I am sure that the future of Hindi is safe in the hands of these children. Further, while throwing light on the objective of organizing Hindi week, he said that Hindi is our official language, to understand India, it is necessary to understand Hindi language and its literature, Hindi has a vast treasure of literature. From ancient times till today, poets and litterateurs have established the best human values ​​through their creativity. To know and understand it, it is necessary for us to learn our language. Hindi is our identity, we should be proud of it.  On this occasion the school's Administrative Officer Lt. Colonel Amit Kumar Tyagi, Vice Principal Wing Commander J.S. Ujjwal along with all the teachers, students and administrative staff were present.
