Ajay Kumar Jha, Commanding Officer of Nalanda 38 Bihar Battalion NCC Bihar Sharif Nalanda, congratulated Dr. Shashikant Kumar Tony on being awarded the Director General Award, and said that this is a big deal for Nalanda At the At Home Party held at Raj Bhawan, Bihar on 3 February, in the presence of His Excellency Governor Fagu Chauhan and Bihar Deputy Chief Ministers Tarkeshwar Prasad and Renu Devi, Bihar Education Minister Ashok Chaudhary, former Minister Neeraj Kumar, Additional Director General of NCC of Bihar and Jharkhand Major General M Indrabalan awarded the certificate and cash amount.

 


It is known that this thing is given to only 4 NCC officers in entire Bihar and Jharkhand, it is selected by the Brigadier level team of every group, no doubt Lieutenant Dr. Shashikant Kumar Tony is a very capable NCC officer, These include selection social service and community development which includes blood donation camp, environmental rescue, tree plantation, getting ready to help common people with their cadets during Karona period, cleanliness campaign, performing yoga etc.

 


It may be noted that Lt. Dr. Shashikant Kumar Tony, NCC officer of Sardar Patel Memorial College Biharsharif Nalanda, was a very bright carat from his student life, he is the holder of A, B, and C certificates of NCC along with the best cadets of his Gaya Group and He has also been the best shooter, Ministry of Defense, Government of India has also awarded the certificate in cash and a blazer.

 Colonel Jha said that there are a total of 6 groups in the Directorate of Bihar and Jharkhand of which 4 are Bihar Gaya Group, Patna Group, Bhagalpur Group, and Muzaffarpur Group respectively while Jharkhand has Ranchi Group and Hazaribagh Group Gaya Group has about 12 districts. 38 Bihar Battalion NCC Bihar Sharif Nalanda has received this honor in the district.

 


He said, for this, I will write a letter to the District Head and Registrar, District Administration and College Administration, Gaya Pataliputra University, and request to reward him by organizing a party in honor of Lt Dr. Shashikant Kumar, I myself organize a program in the premises of 38 Battalion. I will also honor this on behalf of the battalion.
