 Khabre Tv - 9334598481 - Report of Satyam - A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Yogendra Singh, District Officer of Nalanda, in his office cell regarding the promotional measures to be taken for alcohol de-addiction.  In the meeting, the District Officer directed the District Education Officer to organize various activities related to prohibition and de-addiction like essay competition, street plays and rallies in all the educational premises of the district and in the offices of the Education Department. 

 He was also instructed to ensure that the writing work related to prohibition of alcohol should be done on the walls of the educational premises.  The suggestion given by the World Health Organization should also be disseminated in all educational institutions.

 The District Education Officer was instructed to keep a program of prohibition of alcohol during the prayer among the children in all the educational institutions.

 The District Officer directed the District Transport Officer that publicity should be done in all government vehicles through slogans, posters, flexes. Publicity should also be done through short films and jingles through TVs installed in vehicles.  .

 The District Manager, Jeevika was directed to conduct writing work and other activities such as post-dispute competition, rally at each cluster of livelihood. Instructions were also given to increase the capacity of Neera chilling (soft center).  The Livelihood and Excise Department was instructed to take an affidavit from the owners to sell toddy to the Neera center only.




 Orders were given to the Electricity Department to write the writing work related to prohibition on all the structures owned by them and toll free numbers on all the electric poles.

 Instructions were also given to print slogans and toll free numbers related to prohibition on electricity bills. Social Welfare Department was also directed to take activities for this purpose.

 The District Public Relations Officer has also been directed to do publicity in all the Panchayat Government buildings, municipal buildings and other government buildings.  .

 Instructions were given to Nalanda Dairy Incharge to expedite the production/distribution of Neera.

 In the meeting, the office bearers of all the above departments were directed that in order to fully empower the prohibition campaign, it is necessary that its publicity should be ensured at every level.
