 Khabre Tv - 9334598481 - Aditya's report - His Excellency Vice President, Excellency Governor, Bihar, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Bihar and Transport Minister Sri Lanka arrived in the premises of Nalanda University, Rajgir at the 6th Dharma Dhamma Conference organized by Nalanda International University and India Foundation  .

 His Excellency, Vice President, His Excellency the Governor, Bihar and the Honorable Chief Minister, Bihar arrived at the helipad on the campus at 12:30 pm by helicopter.

 Honorable Minister, Rural Development, Bihar, Honorable MP Nalanda,

 Commissioner Patna Division, District Magistrate, Nalanda, Superintendent of Police, Nalanda, Vice Chancellor Nalanda International University, Rajgir along with other dignitaries.

 Tree plantation was also done by His Excellency before the main function.

 In the main function, all the dignitaries were honored with shawls on behalf of the university family.

 The welcome address was delivered by Vice Chancellor Professor Sunaina Singh.  He highlighted the economic and social isolation that emerged after Covid and

 To overcome this, he talked about adopting the middle path of Buddha and the path of Vedas.

 He told that world peace can be established only by adopting the non-volatile path of Buddha.  He talked about creating social balance by mixing the efforts of Dhamma and Vedas.  He also discussed the energy saving, carbon emission reduction works being done in Nalanda University.

 He told that at present students from 30 countries are studying there.  He ended the welcome speech with a hymn from the Yajurveda.

 Sri Lanka's Transport Minister Pavitra Devivanimarakshi described the Dhamma as essential for the sustainable development of the world.  He greatly appreciated the new university established on the lines of the old Nalanda University.  He called the health the biggest wealth.

 Honorable Chief Minister, Bihar told that the Covid epidemic is not natural but man made and its solution should be found in this Dharma Dhamma conference.

 He mentioned the achievement of Bihar and India in vaccination.  He said that Nalanda International University is a special type of university.  He told about the relation of Lord Buddha, Lord Mahavir, Sufi Saint Makhdoom Sahib and Guru Nanak Dev Ji with Rajgir and described Rajgir as not only a mythical but also a holy place.  He also mentioned about the Malmas fair of Rajgir.  He said that there is a need to find ways for the welfare of humanity in the Dharma Dhamma conference.

 His Excellency the Governor, Bihar threw light on the glorious history of Nalanda and expressed happiness over the revival of Nalanda University.

 His Excellency the Vice President congratulated Nalanda University and India Foundation for organizing the Dharma Dhamma Conference.  He said that this Dharma Dhamma conference is to remove the tension of the people after covid, to be happy and to find the way of human welfare.  He said that peace paves the way for development, so we should talk about goodwill and world peace.  

The Dharma Dhamma Conference is dedicated to achieving the age old reputation of Nalanda University and to make the students not only knowledgeable but also intelligent.

 He said that taking care of others and living in harmony with others is the tradition of India.  Nalanda was earlier also called Vishwa Guru and is moving towards it even today.  He said that nature and culture together create a better future.  He said that in the three-day Dharma Dhamma conference, more than 150 scholars of the country and abroad would dedicate their research papers and discuss.
