 Nalanda became the runner-up in Sainik School (Central-Regional) sports and co-curricular activities competition.







 KHABRE TV : 9334598481 : Aditya Report : Silao, dated 27th June 2022, Sainik School Nalanda, Nanand, Sainik School (Central Regional) runner-up performing excellently in sports and co-curricular activities competition session-2022-23  It may be noted that the said competition was organized in Sainik School Tilaiya (Jharkhand) between June 18 and June 25.  In this, total 7 teams of Sainik Schools of Central Region including Sainik School Tilaiya, in which Nalanda and Gopalganj of Bihar, Sambalpur and Bhubaneshwar of Odisha, Rewa of Madhya Pradesh and Sainik School Ambikapur of Chhattisgarh participated, Under this competition Football (Senior)  and junior), volleyball, basketball, hockey, in addition to co-curricular activities, debate competition in Hindi and English, quiz competition (senior and junior) and cultural program competitions were included.




 It may be mentioned that Sainik School Nalanda, performing excellently in the above competitions, secured first place in football junior category and cultural program competition and second in hockey and debate (Hindi).  The team of Sainik School Nalanda, on the basis of the marks obtained, became the runner-up and the host Sainik School Tilaiya became the winner.  The football junior team of Sainik School Nalanda will leave for Sainik School Satara in Maharashtra on 20th July to participate in the All India Sainik School Competition. Naveen Krishna Chandra, Principal, Sainik School Nalanda expressed happiness and congratulated the entire team, the players were given a warm welcome when the team returned to school.  On this occasion, the Principal said that I am very happy but not satisfied with the performance of the team.  Players should start working from now to become the winner in next year's competition.




  The main objective of the school is to prepare the students for the National Defense Academy by developing their physical and mental development.  The above result shows that we are going in the right direction.  We are determined to make Sainik School Nalanda on top.On this occasion, the administrative officer of the school, Major Ajay Chand, senior teacher Shri Madhusudan Dey and teachers, administrative personnel, were present.
