 Review of Amrut scheme done by Nalanda District Officer Shri Shashank Shubhankar







  KHABRE TV : 9334598481 : Shubham Report: The progress of the Nal-Jal scheme implemented under the Amrut scheme was reviewed by the District Magistrate.

  In the meeting, Municipal Commissioner Nalanda Shri Taranjot Singh was informed that the progress of tap water in every house under the AMRUT scheme being implemented under Bihar Sharif Municipal Corporation area is very slow. The work has not been done by the sensor as per the prescribed time limit.  It was directed to complete the work of tap-water connection and road restoration in all the houses by 10.06.2022.

  It was told by the Municipal Commissioner that the expected progress is not being made in the road restoration work by the contractor. In this regard, the District Magistrate directed the engineers and the sensor present in the meeting that if the road restoration work is not completed before monsoon, due to  In case of any untoward incident/accident, FIR will be lodged against the concerned engineer and the contractor.

  The District Officer directed the Sub-Divisional Officer, Bihar Sharif to take action on the concerned engineer and the sensor under Section 133 of the SPC for Public Nuisance if the requisite progress was not found in the water work of every household tap under the Amrut scheme.

  District Magistrate Nalanda directed to take further action to deduct an amount of five crore seventy four lakh fifty five thousand one hundred and twenty rupees from the bill of the contractor in the light of not completing the work on time as per SBD agreement under Amrut scheme.
