Addressing the program, the leaders of debt relief movement Deepa Devi and Reena Devi said that our government is engaged in making us slaves of new types of Mahajans today. If the bourgeoisie does not pay billions of rupees, then our government pays their debt from the treasury of the country and the women who have always paid their debt before, the government is not helping them even during this crisis!
On this occasion, the National Executive Member of Khegrams, Manmohan said that there is nothing for these women in the Modi government's Rs 20 lakh crore relief package and neither has the state government helped. Due to the lockdown, their employment is closed and they are not in a position to repay the loan. Employment of adult people of their home has also been lost. In his relief package, Prime Minister Modi has forgiven large corporate houses of more than four lakh crores, but women belonging to the group are being asked to repay the loan. Even women belonging to the group are not being allowed to withdraw their accumulated money in this disaster. Livelihood sisters are not given minimum wages fixed by the government. They should also be paid honorarium of 15,000 rupees per month and they should be served by the permanent government and make arrangements for employment based on the merit of self-help groups with loan waivers or by making clusters,

 

On this occasion, Girija Devi, District convenor of Appva said that for the last three months Appva (All India Progressive Women's Association) has been continuously raising. Appava will carry forward this movement till debt free.
