Khabre Tv - 9334598481 - Report of Aditya Kumar - Many programs are planned at Nalanda University as part of the "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" celebrations series. The first event of the series will be held on 25 February 2022. “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” is an important initiative by the Government of India to commemorate 75 years of independence of the country. The aim of this festival is to create awareness among the students of Nalanda about India's glorious past and 75 years of progress made in the country. The students of Nalanda will be exposed to the rich history, culture and achievements of India through these events. The function will be organized in the newly constructed auditorium of Nalanda University. In this program tomorrow, renowned Bharatanatyam dancer Sudeepa Ghosh will give her dance performance. After this, cultural programs will be presented by the students. Students from 32 countries studying at Nalanda University will participate in this function.
Underlining the importance of the event, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunaina Singh said, "Through this festival, we remember India's glorious knowledge-tradition which has been the heritage of this country for many millennia. This festival also considers this. an opportunity to explore how we can live harmoniously in a multipolar world."
One of the objectives of Nalanda University is to bring about integrated development of the present young generation and inspire them towards the leadership of the knowledge tradition of the future. Vice Chancellor Prof. Under the guidance of Sunaina Singh, an innovative pedagogical concept is being realized by coordinating various short term programs including Masters programme, Global Doctorate in various faculties and research centers of Nalanda University. Progressive development over the years has strengthened the foundation stone of this new avatar of the historically famous Nalanda University. The university is emerging as one of the largest net zero campuses in the world.
