 The District Magistrate held a meeting in RICC auditorium to resolve the problems related to Rajgir and implement important projects of the district.

 Khabre Tv - 9334598481 - Shubham's report - Regarding the diagnosis of problems related to Rajgir area and review of progress of important projects under construction in the district, Nalanda District Magistrate Shri Shashank Shubhankar today visited the RICC auditorium with the representatives of the concerned union, departmental officials and local  Had a meeting with the officials.

 *Meeting with Tonga Driver Association and Private E-Rickshaw Driver Association* :- Meeting was held with representatives of Registered Tonga Driver Association and non-registered Private E-Rickshaw Driver Association of Rajgir.  In the past, with the cooperation of the administration, it has been decided by both the unions that all the drivers affiliated to the unregistered e-rickshaw drivers union of Rajgir will be affiliated with the registered union.

 In this regard, the list of all the members affiliated to the private e-rickshaw driver association was asked to be submitted to the representatives of the registered union within two days.  After this, the representatives of the union will meet with the sub-divisional officer and the sub-divisional police officer Rajgir and finalize the universal action plan for the operation of e-rickshaws.

 In the meeting, some problems were also apprised by the union representatives to the District Magistrate, it was informed that e-rickshaw has been provided to the tonga drivers by the tourism department, but e-rickshaw is yet to be provided to some tonga drivers.  The union representatives said that the company providing e-rickshaw through the tourism department, Sky Ride, is not providing the servicing facility as per the terms of the contract.  Due to which e-rickshaw drivers are facing difficulties.  The union also requested for setting up of e-rickshaw charging points at some identified places of Rajgir.

 The District Magistrate said that a consolidated proposal regarding all these points would be sent to the Tourism Department from their level for further action.

 The District Magistrate directed the Executive Officer, City Council, Rajgir to identify the site for installation of CCTV cameras at all the important places of Rajgir tourism area.  The executive officer was also instructed to take action for installation of street lights on the routes of all the tourist places.

 In a meeting with Rajgir Pavement Vendor Association, the District Magistrate listened to their problems.  The District Magistrate directed the Executive Officer, City Council, Rajgir to ensure the formation of Town Vending Committee as per rules without any delay.  After holding an immediate meeting of the constituted Town Vending Committee, it was directed to present the proposal related to the creation of vending zone after passing it through the committee. It was directed to ensure regular meeting of the Town Vending Committee.

 *Pipeline water supply scheme is being implemented by PHED to phase out the use of underground water in Rajgir in a phased manner. In the first phase, about 5100 houses have been given pipeline connection.

 In the second phase, drinking water will be supplied from the water received under the Gangajal Udvah scheme.  The District Magistrate directed the Executive Engineer PHED to make sure to list 100 percent houses, hotels, schools, offices and other establishments in the Rajgir Municipal Council area after a comprehensive survey.  He directed the Executive Officer, City Council, Rajgir to ensure speedy survey work.

 Action is being taken to provide drainage and connectivity from the village near the under-construction cricket stadium in Rajgir.  For this, a proposal for land acquisition of about one acre has been sent.  The construction work of 32 structures is in progress in the under-construction sports complex.  The District Magistrate directed to dedicate the list with the likely date of completion of the construction work of all the structures.

 *Dental College Rahui* is being constructed by BMSICL.  The construction work of 17 structures in this complex is in progress, which is almost in its final stages.  It was told by the BMSICL engineer present in the meeting that the entire construction work would be completed by September 2022.

 The meeting was attended by District Land Acquisition Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer Rajgir, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rajgir, Land Reforms Deputy Collector Rajgir, Engineers of various related departments, Sensor Representatives, Representatives of concerned associations, Executive Officer, City Council Rajgir, Block Development Officer Rajgir, Circle Officer Rajgir.  Along with other officials and representatives were present.
