 Khabre Tv - 9334598481 - Report of Aditya - Rajgir:- 9th death anniversary of late Virendra Prasad, founder of Nalanda footpath shopkeeper Adhikar Manch, was celebrated at Sabzi Mandi near Qila Maidan.  In which all the members of the Executive Committee and members of the Town Vending Committee were present.



 

 On the occasion, Umrao Prasad Nirmal, Patron of the Manch said that today we are celebrating the death anniversary of such a great person who has dedicated his whole life to unite the pavement vendors, he has also held the post of State Treasurer of National Association of Street Vendors of India NASVI.  He remained employed, as well as in many states of the country, he worked in collaboration with NASVI to form an organization of pavement vendors. Today, on his 9th death anniversary, we salute him.



 

 On the occasion, working president Ramesh Kumar Paan said that late Virendra Bhai is not amongst us today but his memories are always in everyone's heart and mind, we martyred ourselves while fighting the battle of pavement vendors.  That is why it is given that while fighting for the rights of the pavement vendors, he had a heart attack, due to which he died.  He had expanded the organization in various blocks of the district including Rajgir, Silao, Nalanda, Bihar Sharif and formed a Nalanda footpath shopkeeper rights forum Nalanda at the district level.  What was done is being fulfilled by the organization.




 He also had an important role in that law, along with Arvind Singh, coordinator of NASVI, which has been implemented by the government for street vendors Act 2014.We pay tribute to him today. Former Ward Councilor Dr Praveen Kumar said that Bhai Birendra ji was the messiah for the pavement vendors, the work he did for the pavement vendors is commendable.




 While paying homage to them through this platform, we demand from the government that all the street vendors in the urban areas of Rajgir should be rehabilitated by making vending zones for them as soon as possible and for this the organization's officials should make efforts for them.  It would be a real tribute.  On the occasion, social worker Sunil Kumar said that we should make a collective effort for the man-sized statue of brother Birendra Prasad ji to be installed in the vending zone.




 On the occasion, Rajgir Bazar zone president Madan Banarasi, Bus Stand zone president Saroj Devi, Manju Devi, Manoj Yadav, Manoj Sao, degree college Rajgir employee Anupam Kumar, Bihar Shepherd Tiger's Anikesh Pal, Krishna Kumar Gupta, Kund zone's Shankar  Saw, Raju Kumar, Madhu Rajvanshi of Veerayatan Zone, Mohammed Aslam besides others were present.
