Under the Amrit Mahotsav program, Swachh Bharat, Run India program was organized in the block office of Giriyak block.

Regarding this cleanliness campaign, administrative officers, block workers, villagers, students, sanitation workers and block workers sweep the block premises and gave the message of cleanliness. Wherever garbage was found on this occasion, it was thrown in the dustbin.
On this occasion, an awareness program was conducted under the Swachh Bharat Run India program in Project Girls Inter School where apart from the administrative officials, the children of the school ran and picked up the garbage.

On this occasion, trainee IAS cum BDO Shrikant Khandekar said that cleanliness should first start with one's own body. He said that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. During this, people were also motivated to use less plastic.
The students of Project Balika Inter School taught the methods of hand washing.
Under the cleanliness program, the school children told the methods of hand hygiene. On this occasion, SDO Anita Sinha told that every child should go to their homes and tell their parents, guardians and people around them about the importance of hand hygiene.
