 Khabre Tv - 9334598481 - Bureau Report - The Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Education Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh is on a two-day visit to Nalanda University.  On the second day of his visit, he inaugurated the newly constructed Teaching Block of Nalanda University.  Today Vice Chancellor Professor Sunaina Singh apprised him about the academic activities and development works of the University. On this occasion, Hon'ble Minister expressed satisfaction over the progress of newly built Nalanda University under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Professor Sunaina Singh and said that this important work by the Vice Chancellor represents the unprecedented potential of Indian women power.


 Appreciating the conference coordination of the ancient Nalanda architectural style in the construction of the university campus, he also appreciated the use of green campus, water resource economy, rain, water harvesting and net zero. He expressed hope that the Nalanda family would make a significant contribution in the establishment of world peace and harmony.  Hon'ble Minister in his address said that institutions of knowledge like Nalanda can play an important role in promoting our inter-relationship and understanding in the present times,


 Nalanda University is making its place as a symbol of "Inclusion, Harmony, Peace, Knowledge, Inspire Creative and Innovation", he said adding that the participation of students from different countries enriches the inclusive experience of Nalanda.  Which can be used to develop a 'Knowledge Eco System' for the prosperity of humanity. On the other hand, Vice Chancellor Professor Sunaina Singh apprised the Honorable Minister through a presentation on the academic achievements and progress of construction works of Nalanda University in the past years.  He told about its important role in shaping the future of the youth, while discussing the objectives of education, the Vice Chancellor said that in our Nalanda teaching method, India has been integrated with India's ancient knowledge tradition and modern intellectual discoveries.  To create a generation of thought leaders of the future.

 For centuries, Nalanda was a prestigious center of learning that attracted scholars from across Asia and became a center of inter-Asia knowledge and dialogue.  Today's Nalanda University is also emerging as a beacon of hope, knowledge and security for the globalized world. The Hon'ble Minister along with his delegation visited various buildings and newly constructed facilities of the University, during which the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sunaina Singh and faculty members were himself to inform about the recently constructed schools and centers of the University.  Other officers were also present.


 A cultural program was organized by the students in the Minn and Auditorium of the University in the honor of the Hon'ble Minister, through this program the students displayed the multicultural diversity of the University.

 Noting that the university has students from more than 30 countries, this visit of the Hon'ble Minister reflects the efforts of the Government of India for the revival of the ancient Nalanda knowledge tradition as a part of the Asian revival.
