 Meeting of Smart City Project under the chairmanship of Nalanda District Officer.



(KHABRE TV - 9523505786) - The meeting was called today to review the implementation of Bihar Sharif Smart City Project under the chairmanship of District Officer.


It was informed by the Municipal Commissioner that the Jan Suvidha Kendra scheme is being implemented in 12 wards of the Municipal Corporation. Work has already started in 9 of these schemes, work is being started in the remaining three schemes.
The District Officer directed to provide a clear list of whatever problems related to land in the implementation of various schemes taken under the Smart City Project. According to the list, the problem will be resolved through the concerned department / office.
Instructions were given to take action in suitable government buildings for construction of rain water harvesting structure. Action was also asked to install solar panels in appropriate government buildings.
In the Municipal Corporation area, 18 schools have been listed for construction of various structures. For this, instructions were given to the District Education Officer to give a no objection certificate. 


Development of market committee premises is being done through the bridge construction corporation. In the first phase, boundary, internal road, street light and drainage are being constructed in the market committee at a cost of about 12.58 crore. The construction of DPR is also being done by the bridge construction corporation for the second phase development of this complex.
There are also plans to construct a rain water retention structure to prevent rainwater on the Hiranya Mountains. In this, necessary suggestions have also been taken from the Executive Engineer of Flood Control. Further action was asked to ensure this plan.
Further action was also directed to expedite the riverfront development plan of Panchane River.
The District Officer asked the Municipal Commissioner to review all the schemes and ensure action in a timely manner to expedite the work.
The meeting was attended by the Municipal Commissioner, District Education Officer, Executive Engineer Flood Control, Zonal Officer Bihar Sharif and other officials and representatives of Smart City Consultant Agency.
