Addressing the media, Deputy Development Commissioner Nalanda Rakesh Kumar said that the administration has made arrangements to keep all the migrant workers in the quarantine center.


(Khabre TV - 9523505786) - As of May 19, 169 block level and 36 panchayat level districts have been housed in a total of 205 quarantine centers.
According to the data received till 5:00 pm on May 19, 16 thousand 497 migrants have so far been placed in the quarantine at the block / panchayat level. Of these, 1538 migrants completing a 14-day quarantine period have been punctuated by various centers for their home quarantine. Thus till date, 14959 migrant workers were living in Quarantine in the district.
Continuation of the arrival of migrants continues, for this, new quarantine centers are also being built as necessary. 


He informed that continuous efforts are being made to provide employment opportunities under MNREGA to unskilled laborers.
A target of about 10 lakh man days has been set in the district till June 15, out of which about three lakh man days have been created so far.
Employment has been provided to 471 people who have been displaced from the Quarantine Center under various schemes. A job card of about 700 migrants willing to work has been created, which has continued continuously.
At present, 623 pines, 45 public ponds, 342 ahars, 42 private pokhars and 1607 sokkha are being constructed under MNREGA in the district. Efforts are constantly being made to provide employment to more and more interested migrants in these schemes.
