Due to the lock down issued by the central and state government to protect against the infection of Carona virus, poor middle class families have to face a lot of problems in eating and drinking for two months. Especially the families of the runaway families are facing a lot of difficulties everyday.
However, in this lock-down, the government, administration, various institutions and social workers are also helping the needy people in the same manner day by day. On Saturday, through the Viratan Sansthan Rajgir in Tirthankar Mahavir Vidyalaya premises located in Pavapuri of Giriyak block, Rajgir distributed ration material among the 125 poor families who were in need.
Viraitan Institute has surveyed 18 villages in Puri, Puranbigha village and distributed relief packets among the target poor helpless families. In each packet, 5 kg rice, five kg flour, 2 kg, mustard oil 2 kg, sugar 2 kg, tea leaves 200 grams, salt 1 packet, 2 spices including hand soap were dispensed. On the occasion, Principal of Tirthankara Mahavir Vidha Mandir, Dr. Kaushal Kishore Kaushik said that due to the lock-down, ration was provided to 125 helpless poor families due to the lock-down, courtesy of Abhay Firdausia, managing director of Viratan Institute President and Force Motor.
So that it can fulfill its food during the period of lock down. He said that one packet is enough for four people. Dr. Kaushal Kishore informed that within 2 to 3 days, ration will be distributed among 250 needy people after survey in the villages of Dasarathpur, Durgapur Ghosharava etc. Kanak Kumar Ramesh Kumar Nitish Kumar Anil Kumar Vicky Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
