When the in-laws did not meet the demand for dowry, killing the married woman and hiding the body in a wheat pony.


Muralidhar Prasad Kesari, Islampur (KHABRE TV - 9523505786) - The in- laws murdered a married woman named Sangeeta Kumari and hid the dead body in a wheat ponytail when the in - laws failed to meet the dowry demands. The police recovered the body on the trail of the family of the deceased and sent it for post mortem to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital. In this regard, the brother of the deceased Sangeeta Kumari, Manoj Kumar, a resident of Chakdaulat village in Islampur police station area, said that according to Hindu custom with Ramashray Prasad, son of Sita Gop, resident of Faridpur village of Islampur police station area, 10 years ago. According to its power, it was done with great fanfare by giving dowry as a gift.

 

Everything went well for a few years after the marriage, after which the in-laws started demanding a motorcycle and cash from the mother-in-law, her sister always being beaten and tortured when the demand was not met. The deceased's brother said that two days ago, the sister's husband Ramashraya Prasad lured Sangeeta Kumari to Sanda village in Islampur police station area and murdered her and hid the dead body in a wheat kattu. The brother of the deceased told that we were informed about the incident by the villagers on mobile. After which it was reported to the local police station. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the Islampur police station raided the house of Ramdev Prasad resident of Sanda village and recovered the dead body kept hidden in the wheat kattu. Police has started investigating the incident.
