Once again there was a major accident in the Chasnala mines, 365 workers died in 1975 and today
116 workers were evacuated, while 1 worker died.

 

(KHABRE TV - 9523505786) - The death of a laborer in the accident on Friday in Deep Mines of Jharia Cell Chasanala colliery of Coalchanchal  Dhanbad, DGMS has ordered an inquiry into the matter, while the Dhanbad district administration has also investigated the entire case. Orders have been given, Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar informed that, the district administration has formed a joint investigation team under the leadership of DMO and Sub-divisional Officer of Mining Department.

 

The one who will prepare the report of the entire case and hand it over to the administration, let me tell you that a worker was killed in the Deep Mines of the underground mine in the second shift at 8:30 pm on Friday evening at Sail Chasanala colliery in Dhanbad and 116 workers were safely evacuated inside the colliery, even taking the dead body of the deceased laborer took more than 5 hours, it is said that the mining work is done by the contractor in the colliery by SAIL Chasanala Prabandhan. And safety standards are not taken care of even before many accidents have happened.

 

In 1975, 375 laborers had taken water samadhi alive in SAIL Chasanala and in 1978, Bollywood film Kala Patthar was made on the same incident, the memory of that incident has come back once again.
