He was first remembered by placing a wreath on the portrait of Gandhi and Shastri at the RCC center at SU College East Gate by the Manav Samaj Sewa Sabha and Quit Gutkha Movement. During this, the speakers pledged to assimilate their thoughts in life while highlighting the biography of both great men.
