(KHABRE TV - 9334598481, 9523505786) - Nalanda District Election Officer Yogendra Singh and Superintendent of Police Nilesh Kumar held a meeting on pre-election preparations today.
Voting for Patna Teachers and Patna Graduate Constituency of Bihar Legislative Council will be held from 8 am to 5 pm on 22 October. Polling will be held at 40 polling stations for the graduate constituency and 20 for the teacher constituency. All the polling stations are located in various block office premises.


For this election, polling party officials will be dispatched with necessary materials from Sogra High School. All polling party officials were asked to ensure timely lifting of materials. Scope marking is being done for social distancing at all polling stations. All Block Development Officers were directed to complete this task without any delay. All the arrangements will be made at all booths as ideal polling stations.



Dustbin will also be provided at each booth. The deputation of the personnel is being done by the Health Department for thermal scanning of voters, for this the civil surgeon was asked to ensure prompt action.
Instructions were given to the arms license holders who have not verified the weapons, to ensure immediate submission of arms and action pending / cancellation of license as per rules.


All the sub-divisional officers and the station in-charge were directed to expedite the preventive action. 



Superintendent of Police, Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional Collector, ASP Campaign, Nodal and Senior Officers of various treasuries and all Block Development Officers / Police Incharge were present through video conferencing.
