The District Officer and Superintendent of Police held a meeting through video conferencing with all the Block Development Officers, Medical Officer Incharge and Station Incharge.

Today the District Officer and Superintendent of Police reviewed the work being done to prevent the spread of Novel Corona virus through video conferencing.
During the lock-down period, all the people coming from outside the state were mandated to be kept at the block / panchayat level quarantine center for 14 days. They were instructed to monitor the situation daily by conducting medical screening of these people. . If any of these symptoms are noticed, then it is directed to take action to shift to the isolation of the hospital without delay. All such people were instructed to provide food as per the standard operating procedure of Disaster Management Department.
All the sub-divisional officers and block development officers were instructed to ensure the distribution of food grains through public distribution system by taking up the foodgrains in the month of April without any delay.
The government will provide 5 kilograms of rice to each ration-striped person for free. In addition to this, all the sub-divisional officers and block development officers were instructed to ensure the distribution of food grains by taking them without delay. So far, around 26 percent of the district's dealers have been given door step delivery of food grains for the month of April. Directives have been given to ensure speedy delivery.
Superintendent of Police, Additional Collector, Deputy Development Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Civil Surgeon and officials in charge of various district level treasuries were present in the meeting.
