The District Officer held a meeting with the officers, inspected the shield area, along with the Sub-Divisional Officer and Sub-Divisional Police Officer. 



Action is being taken as per the standard operating procedure of covid-19 in core, buffer and outer zones in case of Nobel Coronavirus found positive.
A sample of people coming into contact with this locality is also being collected after the case found positive in Shakunat locality yesterday.
Today, the District Officer and Superintendent of Police held a meeting with the officials and directed to ensure action in accordance with the standard operating procedure laid down in the core, buffer and outer zones.
WhatsApp group is being formed for the core zone, through which necessary materials will be supplied.
A sample collection of people with the closest contact with people found positive yesterday is being done today, which is being sent for investigation. The city commissioner was instructed to carry out sanitation campaign in every street and house in the affected area.


So far 1364 samples have been sent for investigation in the district, out of which 27 people have been found positive so far. (A resident's sample was sent to Patna). So far, a total of 28 people in the district have been found infected with coronavirus. The first two of these people have been discharged from the hospital after being found negative and are staying in home quarantine. The remaining 26 cases are related to contact chains of the same infected person.


Nodal officers of various treasuries including Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional Collector, Municipal Commissioner, Civil Surgeon, Sub-Divisional Officer Bihar Sharif, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Bihar Sharif were present in the meeting.
After the meeting, the District Officer inspected the shield area and gave necessary guidelines to the concerned officials regarding cleanliness and sanitization. Sub-divisional officer Bihar Sharif and sub-divisional police officer Bihar Sharif were present during the inspection.
