In Ramnagar Markatta village, a sudden fire broke out in the standing crop of wheat on the roadside fields, due to the strong wind, the fire spread rapidly and (a trench) crop of about 70 bighas was destroyed.

 

In Ramnagar Markatta village of Giriyak block, a sudden fire broke out in the standing crop of wheat on the roadside fields. No one knows how the fire broke out. A crowd of villagers gathered after the sudden fire in the wheat crop. But due to the flames and strong winds, the villagers could not muster the courage to approach the fire, in spite of this, the villagers kept busy in extinguishing the fire after seeing the crop burning.

 

Although the fire brigade carriage also reached the spot, the fire spread rapidly due to the strong wind and (a trench) crop of about 70 bighas was destroyed and the fire could be controlled after hard work.
Farmers Azad Singh and Guddu Kumar said that year-long hard work of farmers has been ruined due to fire. The cause of the fire is not yet known. They are deeply saddened by the fact that the farmers are offering a crop fire.

 

In this incident, farmers Azad Singh Tuntun Pandey Vinay Pandey Surya Dev Sharma Guddu Singh Pappu Singh Jairo Singh, Arjun Singh Acharya Singh Nonu Singh Kirti Singh Girish Singh Ashok Singh Chandra Modi Singh Sudhir Singh Dewas Kumar and other farmers were burnt to ashes. Giriak CO Chandrasekhar Kumar said that an assessment is being done to assess the damage.
