District officer inspected door-to-door screening work and distribution of food grains in Giriyak, in this order, door-to-door skinning was reviewed in Dakbangla English village.

 

Giriak: Everyone is worried about rationing in lockdown. Efforts are made to provide ration to the poor from the governments of the Central and State to the district administration. The government is making every effort to ensure that the beneficiary gets proper ration in this emergency. But in spite of this, there are dealers that they are still not getting back from their old antics, as a result of which the villagers are complaining from many places in the district. On this, Nalanda DM Yogendra Singh on Friday conducted a surprise inspection of the public distribution shop of Dak Bungalow in Giriyak Block area. Suddenly there was a stir when the DM arrived. Closely inspected storage registers, distribution registers, weights as well as testing of posh machines and took feedback from villagers and looked satisfied. He examined the quantity of food grains available in the public distribution shop stores, the quantity of food grains distributed to the consumers according to the members mentioned in the ration card and the slip issued from the machine for verification. Also instructed the dealer that the beneficiary should get the ration on time. District Magistrate Yogendra Singh directed the concerned officer present on the occasion to provide monthly ration to the consumers at reasonable price and effective monitoring of distribution work as per the norms set by the government at all public distribution shops in the block area. In addition to this, consumers have to learn about protection against corona, By giving information about social distancing and physical distancing, everyone has been instructed to distribute the ration by making lines. He said that shopkeepers of public distribution system were also told to be vigilant about their safety.

 In this sequence, Nalanda DM Yogendra Singh took stock of door to door skinning in Dakbangla English village and gave necessary guidelines to the survey team. 


On the lines of Pulse Polio campaign, door to door survey is being done in entire Nalanda district. For which teams of Asha Worker and Anganwadi Sevika have been formed. ANM has been attached to the team for supervision. Through the survey, the name, age, current health status of the people living in each household, going through house-to-house visits of one member of the house will be ascertained that from March 1 to March 23 in their house from outside. Whether anyone came or not, information about travel history is being sought. On this occasion, he gave necessary guidelines to the surveying people doing house-to-house scanning and told them to keep a proper distance from each other while surveying, wear face masks and face, nose, Do not touch the eyes etc. Make it your habit and explain it to the villagers in front of you. Keep washing your hands frequently and note that before applying your face to the face, sanitize or wash your hands. Explain to the surveying units not to touch any objects during the survey.
