(KHABRE TV - 9523505786) - A meeting of the District Level Advisory and Review Committee (DLCC / DLRC) was convened today at Hardev Bhawan Auditorium under the chairmanship of Nalanda District Officer Yogendra Singh.
The district official told that thousands of workers in the district have returned to their homes due to the lockdown. Skill mapping of these people has also been done. More than 10 thousand of them are skilled workers.
It is a high priority of the government to provide more and more employment opportunities to these workers through schemes of various departments. A counseling center is being set up at the District Registration and Counseling Center (DRCC) to help the workers.

All departments and banks were directed to ensure action on the basis of accelerated action plan to provide employment opportunities to maximum people.
Under agriculture and allied activities, various schemes / activities were asked to ensure action to provide benefits to the maximum number of people. Under the Prime Minister Employment Generation Program, Mudra Loans etc., project loans are being made available to the people, it was directed to accelerate this further.
In the past meetings, the order has been given to provide the facility of bank branch / customer service center in all the working panchayat government buildings of the district. Now this facility has been provided in 7 panchayat government buildings. Banking facility is available in other panchayat government buildings also. All bankers were instructed to take action to get it done.
The average achievement of all banks under the Annual Credit Plan in the financial year 2019-20 has been around 58 percent. The achievement of some banks was found to be unsatisfactory. The gross credit deposit ratio of the banks of the district in the last financial year has been 33.43 percent. The achievement of some banks has also been unsatisfactory.

The District Officer directed the District Lead Manager to ensure a review of the achievement every week with banks with below average achievement. They reviewed the bank branch wise and directed to set the short term target for the poor achievement branches. Asked to review weekly.
All the bankers were asked to provide loans to maximum number of people with liberality and sensitivity for employment.
Deputy Development Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Senior Deputy Collector Banking, Lead District Manager, Regional level officials of various banks, representatives of other banks and District level officials of various departments were present in the meeting.
