(KHABRE TV - 9523505786) - To ensure maximum voters' participation in the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly elections, the voters are widely used through various means under the SVEEP (Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation / Systematic Voter Education and Voter Participation) campaign in the district. The District Election Officer-cum-District Officer Yogendra Singh held a meeting with the officials of various partner departments of this campaign today for the implementation of the sweep campaign.
It was informed at the meeting that in view of the state of transition of Kovid-19 in the present time, voter awareness activities will be organized on a large scale through multimedia campaigns.
For the purpose of making voters aware and sharing important information related to voting, a separate account / page of the district will be created on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp etc. Efforts will be made to connect more and more people to these platforms so that all important information can be made available to as many people as possible.
Special campaign will be launched through various means for maximum participation of service voters, women voters, young voters and disabled voters.
A separate cell will be formed to conduct sweep campaign in all blocks. With which the orientation program will be organized through video conferencing.
The activities related to voter awareness will be organized at various levels as per the calendar set by Sweep Koshang with mutual coordination by various associate departments.
About 200 schools in the district have smart classes. This feature will also be used to make people aware through audio video messaging.
For the convenience of voters, more and more people will be made aware about the NVSP portal, voter assistance call center and various mobile apps operated through the Election Commission so that more and more voters can avail the necessary information and facilities through them Can get seated.
Apart from this, special emphasis will be given to sensitize voters by going door-to-door through Jeevika, ICDS, Tola Sevak, Vikas Mitra etc. Through these people, pumplets containing information related to elections will also be distributed among the people.
Competition will be organized through online platform for essay, poetry, painting, slogan writing etc. on the theme of strong democracy among the youth. Instructions were given to ensure pre-preparation for this. Similarly, for women and differently-abled voters, online competition will be organized on the theme related to elections separately.
Social media platforms will be used more and more under the sweep campaign.
Audio video publicity vehicle will be used for the purpose of making people aware and aware about the functioning of EVM and VVPAT.

Slogan related to voter awareness will also be inscribed on acknowledgment receipt / prescription issued through RTPS, Registration, Hospital OPD, Police station etc. The slogans related to voter awareness will also be marked on the letters to be distributed in the district through the post office. Along with this, stickers and posters related to voter awareness will also be installed on LPG cylinders, water jars, banks, ATMs, PDS shops, various types of vehicles etc. Awareness campaign will also be conducted through hoarding flex. Voters will also be made aware through wall writings at major public places.
Particularly intensive voter awareness campaign will be conducted at polling stations with low polling percentage in the last election with the help of associate departments and local influential people.
The District Officer asked all the associate departments to work with the objective of reaching more and more people through organizing meaningful activities with mutual coordination.
Sweep district icons Ashutosh Kumar Manav and PWD icon Sudarshan Kumar are also being encouraged to engage people in democracy by communicating with people in public places. This campaign will be further intensively and systematically conducted by them through audio medium.
At the meeting, Deputy Development Commissioner, District Public Relations Officer, Deputy Election Officer, District Education Officer, DPO ICDS, DPM Jeevika, District Sports Officer, District Welfare Officer, Senior Deputy Collector Mridula Kumari, District Icon Ashutosh Kumar Man of Sweep, District Icon Disabled ( PwD) Sudarshan Kumar, representative of Nehru Yuva Kendra, various District Program Officers of Education Department and officials of other allied departments were present.
