Apart from guava, pomegranate jackfruit, custard apple and mahogany have been planted. Three to four hundred guava plants are seen in many villages of the district which have become trees and have also yielded fruit. The forest percentage of the district is close to three which is quite low. In such a situation, to increase the forest percentage, every person of the society will have to join plantation. It has been observed that every person wants to plant trees, especially in rural areas.
They also have land available but there is no availability of plant. Today the whole country is struggling with environmental crisis. To save the environment every hand has to be attached to plantation. BDO Rahul Kumar said that plantation is the only way to save the contaminated environment. Planting fruitful plants will also give people easy fruits. Rajeev Ranjan Bharti, Vinay Prakash, Sudhir Pandey, Dikesh Kumar, Aryan Chandan, Chandrasekhar, Vicky were present on the occasion.

Besides, 750 guava plant was also distributed free of cost among health workers and patients.
