In Durgapur village of Giriyak block area, there was chaos when a 16-year-old girl died due to electric wires. 

The incident is from Durgapur village in the auxiliary police station Pavapuri area. There is a lot of anger among the villagers after this incident. The villagers were demanding the compensation of the families of the deceased, holding the power department guilty of this incident.
According to the information received, 16-year-old daughter of Doman Mistry of Durgapur village, Preeti Kumari came out of her house to bring vegetables to the field. As soon as it reached a little distance from the house, near the field, the electric wire fell on the ground and it struck the wire. Villagers said that a current of lightning was flowing from the wire, which got badly burnt due to the grip and the girl died on the spot. After this incident, the family and the people of the village became angry, stating the negligence of the electricity department and people started demonstrating with the dead body on the spot. Here the girl's death caused a furore in the family. The family started crying. Police officer Prabha Kumari arrived on the spot with the police force on the spot and started to extinguish the family members but the family remained adamant on demanding action against the negligent employees.

Naturally, when such an incident happens, it is very sad for the family.
