(Khabare TV - 9334598481, 9523505786) - Patna 22 August 2020 Information about the "Virtual Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee (MNREGA) Scheme" under the aegis of Bihar Association of Persons with Disability from 3 pm on 22 August 2020 today. The online workshop for '' was held on Google Meet. The chief guest of this online workshop was Dr. Shivaji Kumar (State Commissioner of Disability, Government of Bihar, Patna. Online guests and speakers were Mr. Ajay Sahai (Program Officer, MNREGA), Mr. Moti Lal (President, Bihar Association of PWD) And also Sandeep Kumar (Program Coordinator) as a speaker,

 

Santosh Kumar Sinha (Program Manager, Bihar Association of PWD), Mukesh Registrar (DPG, Madhubani), Harimohan Singh (Munger), Kundan Kumar Pandey (Nalanda), Dheeraj Kumar (Nalanda), Sugandh Narayan Prasad (Secretary, Bihar Association of Person with Disabilities), Priyanka Mishra (Secretary, Thalassemia Parents Ass.), Ankita Mishra, Shekharchourasia, Keshari Kishore, Ritarani, Rahul Singh (Program Coordinator), Shri Laxmikant Kumar-Kaimur, Shanti Mukul-Muzaffarpur, Hundreds of Divyangjan, Bihar Specialist, all divisional level, district level, civil division level, block level, village level DGP Etc. were present. The main objective of this online workshop program was to provide information about the schemes of the MNREGA to the PwDs and the people associated with them.

 

The Chief Guest, Dr. Shivaji Kumar said that today's online program has given a lot of information about the schemes of the MNREGA to the disabled people of Bihar. Information about how the MNREGA job card will be made to our PwDs, which work will be given to them. 90 percent of Abadi lives in villages, so rural schemes like MNREGA and Jivika were run by the government. He said that by organizing such an online program by the Bihar Association of PWDs, people with disabilities are very helpful during the Kovid-19 pandemic and get to know about the schemes and rights run by the government.

 

Shri Ajay Sahai (Program Officer, MNREGA) gave detailed information about the ongoing schemes in MNREGA. He said that our priority is to make job cards to all the PwDs and get them linked to the MNREGA. At present, 260 schemes are being run and are being implemented in MNREGA. Work is given according to the ability of individuals in the MNREGA. Under MNREGA, you can do your own work like vermi composed, poultry, fishery, cow rearing, and they will also be given job cards. Educated persons with disabilities can work as a mate. MNREGA is the biggest scheme of the country. Work is paid within 14 days. He was also responding to the questions being asked by the audience.

 

Mukesh registrar also informed people about MNREGA. And also responded to the questions asked by the people.
