In such a situation, plasma therapy is proving very effective for the treatment of Covid-19 patients. Considering the impact of plasma therapy, a plasma bank has been constructed in Patna AIIMS, Bihar and people are being made aware to donate plasma. In this crisis, Corona Warriors doctors doing duty in Vims Hospital are now supporting people in the battle of life. Intern Dr. Alok Raj of Vardhman Institute of Medical Sciences, Pavpuri, made a commendable contribution by donating plasma. IMA, MSN JDN, led by exemplary initiative Alok Raj, interns at VIMS, donated their plasma, So that the life of another serious patient can be saved. The doctor, who was hit by Corona during his duty in Vimans, donated a plasma in Patna AIIMS, playing his social responsibility after recovering completely. Dr. PK Chaudhary, Principal of Vimes, said that
often relatives of Corona patients appear to be looking for a plasma donor. People are not coming forward to donate plasma. He said that saving someone's life is a service to humanity, he will have to come forward for this. Hospital superintendent of Vims, Dr Gnanabhusan said that
plasma treatment in the Covid-19 global epidemic has created a wave of confidence in the medical field among patients with the disease. Dr. Neelkamal of the IMA MSN Vims Unit said that all the Covid-19 patients discharged in Vims, who have completed 21 days, are being contacted and they are encouraged for plasma donation. But very few people are agri to plasma donation. He said that there is no problem with plasma donation, those people should come forward.

 


There is no harm to the plasma donor.
There is no risk to the plasma donor. Rather it is easier and safer than donating blood. There is nothing to fear in donating plasma. Hemoglobin also does not drop. Blood is taken from your body in donating blood. Whereas in plasma only plasma is taken from your blood and red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets are transported back to your body. In this case, donating plasma does not matter much to the body.
