The student organization AISA celebrated the nationwide protest day of the new National Education Policy 2020, with the students accusing the government of an anti-student and anti-poor policy on the New Education Policy 2020.
(KHABRE TV - 9334598481, 9523505786) - AISA District Convenor Jayant Anand issued a statement that through the National Education Policy 2020, the government is conspiring to sell the entire education system to the big capitalists of the country. Under this policy, many government schools and colleges in small towns, which are the only means of education for students coming from poor backgrounds, will be closed on the pretext of 'low enrollment and poor infrastructure' and private University will open. Instead of improving government educational institutions, spending on them, the government is closing them and will open big institutes. Students from poor sections will not be able to study in these private educational institutions.
A few years ago, the government gave Rs 1000 crore to Jio University of Ambani without coming into existence and was also given the status of 'Eminence'. But the government does not have the money to spend on government institutions, and there will be an open exemption to take money from the government treasury to run private institutions. The student organization AISA will launch a nationwide agitation against this anti-student policy of Modi government 2020 and will strongly oppose this policy of the government.
This National Education Policy 2020 talks about a 4-year entry / exit degree program. Students who do not have money can quit after 1 year or 2 years and they will be given that same year certificate and those who have money can complete their studies for 4 years and take a degree.
If a student wants to take a job, then obviously the priority will be that of a student with a degree. That is why this program will promote discrimination and inequality. The privatization of education will end the social justice and reservation roster. If private colleges or schools open, they will not follow the reservation roster. In the NEP 2020, nothing has been written on social justice and reservation. Therefore, this education policy will promote discrimination and Dalit-backward, Adivasi, Minority, women will be shunned from education. Government should cancel the new education policy and implement uniform education system across the country.
Today's protests include Deepak Kumar, Arnav Kumar, Gaurav Kumar, Subhash Kumar.
